you are currently viewing:IMF Executive Board Concludes 2026 Consultation with Euro AreaJuly 16, 2026--The war in the Middle East has weakened the euro area outlook, with growth projected to slow from 1.4 percent in 2025 to 0.9 percent in 2026 and 1.2 percent in 2027 and headline inflation projected to rise from 2.1 percent in 2025 to 2.9 and 2.3 percent, respectively. Risks are skewed toward weaker growth and higher inflation, with the extent of energy market disruption from the war in the Middle East being the largest source of uncertainty. Monetary policy should aim to keep inflation expectations anchored and fiscal policy should mitigate the war's harm to activity while remaining prudent. Structural fiscal consolidation remains a priority, especially in high-debt countries. Deutsche Boerse Welcomes Erste Asset Management on Xetra
July 16, 2026--Since Thursday, the first Exchange Traded Funds from Erste Asset Management have been available for trading on Deutsche Börse. Carne Global Fund Managers (Ireland) Limited acts as the management company, whilst Erste AM acts as the investment manager.
With the start of two ETFs, Erste Asset Management is entering the ETF market and introduced the new ERSTE ETF Equities UCITS ETF product range.
Deutsche Boerse Welcomes AllianzGI as New ETF Issuer
July 17, 2026--Since Friday, the first Active Exchange Traded Funds from Allianz Global Investors have been available for trading on Deutsche Börse.
AllianzGI is entering the European ETF market with the "Allianz Smart Active" ETFs, building on its multiple years of experience in investment management, its expertise in active management, as well as its diversified investment platform.

July 15, 2026--HANetf has expanded its range of defence ETFs, which is Europe's largest, with the launch of Future of US Defence UCITS ETF (ticker: GIJO).[1]
The ETF aims to provide exposure to US companies benefiting from the world's largest defence market, as America increases spending and accelerates investment in next-generation military capability.[2]
Defiance surpasses $200 million in European UCITS assets in less than four months
July 15, 2026--Defiance ETFs has accumulated $207.10 million in AUM across its European UCITS ETF range.
The milestone comes less than four months after Defiance entered the European market in March 2026.
The range spans five thematic UCITS ETFs: Drone (DRON), Ukraine Reconstruction (UKRN), AI & Power Infrastructure (AIPO), Memory (DRAM), and Photonics (PHOT).
