This update incorporates data published today by China's National Bureau of Statistic. Total fixed asset investment declined by 1.7 percent YoY from January to October 2025, while fixed asset investment in property declined 14.7 in October compared to a year prior. Each of these are record breaking declines, dipping to levels unseen since the pandemic. Most notably, fixed asset investment in property signals that China's real estate bubble is still deflating despite hopes that it has bottomed-out.
