Two Actively Managed Funds Focused on Current Income Opportunities
November 5, 2014--Nasdaq today announced that First Trust will list two new exchange-traded funds, First Trust Emerging Markets Local Currency Bond ETF (Symbol: FEMB) and First Trust Low Duration Mortgage Opportunities ETF (Symbol: LMBS), on The Nasdaq Stock Market. FEMB and LMBS will begin trading on Nasdaq today, November 5th, 2014.
"These funds provide a strategy for investors to gain exposure to two fixed income sectors in which we believe in-depth research and analysis, along with ongoing surveillance, can add significant value for investors," said Ryan Issakainen, CFA, Senior Vice President and ETF Strategist at First Trust. "Both funds may benefit from active portfolio management, which provides the flexibility to implement specific views, while targeting a more attractive tradeoff between risk and return."

ALPS to Close Three Exchange Traded Funds
November 4, 2014--ALPS, a DST Company focused on asset servicing and asset gathering, today announced the liquidation of three VelocityShares ETFs.
The three Funds--VelocityShares Emerging Asia DR ETF (NASDAQ: ASDR), VelocityShares Emerging Markets DR ETF (NASDAQ: EMDR) and VelocityShares Russia Select DR ETF (NASDAQ: RUDR)--will close to new investors on November 18, 2014 and liquidate on November 21, 2014.

Cambria Debuts Global Momentum ETF
November 4, 2014--Mebane Faber's Cambria Investments today introduced the Cambria Global Momentum ETF (GMOM), an actively managed fund that uses an ETF of ETFs approach.
The Cambria Global Momentum ETF is Cambria's successor product to the AdvisorShares Morgan Creek Global Tactical ETF (GTAA), which California-based Cambria stopped sub-advising in June.

Treasury Announces Marketable Borrowing Estimates
November 3, 2014--The U.S. Department of the Treasury today announced its current estimates of net marketable borrowing for the October-December 2014 and January-March 2015 quarters:
During the October-December 2014 quarter, Treasury expects to issue $232 billion in net marketable debt, assuming an end-of-December cash balance of $200 billion. This borrowing estimate is $45 billion higher than announced in August 2014.
The increase in borrowing relates primarily to changes in cash balance assumptions. [1]
During the January-March 2015 quarter, Treasury expects to issue $209 billion in net marketable debt, assuming an end-of-March cash balance of $100 billion.
During the July-September 2014 quarter, Treasury issued $205 billion in net marketable debt and ended the quarter with a cash balance of $158 billion. In August 2014, Treasury had estimated $192 billion in net marketable debt and assumed an end-of-September cash balance of $150 billion. The increase in borrowing is driven primarily by a higher ending cash balance.

November 3, 2014--ISE Gemini reported record monthly ADV (1,007,614 contracts) and market share (5.3%).
ISE Gemini surpassed one million contracts in 12 of the 23 trading days in October.
ISE and ISE Gemini combined represent 17.4% of equity options market share, excluding dividend trades
ISE and ISE Gemini reported a combined ADV of 3.3 million contracts.
Dividend trades made up 0.3% of industry volume in October 2014.
International Securities Exchange Holdings, Inc. (ISE Holdings) today reported a combined average daily volume (ADV) of 3.3 million contracts in October 2014 for its two exchanges, ISE and ISE Gemini. This represents 17.4% of U.S. equity options market share.
