First Asset Introduces New Core ETF: First Asset Core Canadian Equity Income ETF
November 12, 2015--First Asset Core Canadian Equity Income ETF (TSX: CSY) announces that it has completed the previously announced conversion from a closed-end fund (Can-60 Income Corp.) to an exchange-traded fund.
Today, outstanding equity shares of Can-60 Income Corp. have been consolidated on a 1:3 basis and re-designated as ETF Shares of First Asset Core Canadian Equity Income ETF, which trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange under ticker "CSY".

iShares International Aggregate Bond ETF Began Trading Today
November 12, 2015--Global Markets (BATS), the #1 U.S. market for the trading of exchange-traded funds (ETFs), today welcomed the iShares International Aggregate Bond ETF (BATS: IAGG), which began trading today on the BATS ETF Marketplace.

Charles Schwab joins iShares in slashing fees on ETFs
November 10, 2015--Two top asset managers said Tuesday they are slashing costs on some of their exchange-traded funds, ushering in a new level of low fees for investors in funds that track the stock market.
BlackRock Inc, the largest manager of ETFs through its iShares brand, said it is cutting fees on seven of its over 700 exchange-traded funds.
Warren and Cummings Investigation Finds That Repeal of Dodd-Frank Provision Now Allows Banks to Keep Nearly $10 Trillion in Risky Trades on Books
November 10, 2015--Today, United States Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and Rep. Elijah E. Cummings (D-Md.), Ranking Member of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, released new information about their investigation into the risks posed to taxpayers and the economy after last year's partial repeal of Section 716 of the Dodd-Frank Act.
Section 716 was originally designed to prevent taxpayer bailouts of federally-insured banks with risky swaps holdings, but was repealed during passage of the 2014 "Cromnibus."

Vanguard Steps Into Muni-Bond Indexing
The fund giant's first muni-bond index fund has had a quiet debut
November 8, 2015--Long associated with index funds, Vanguard Group didn't launch its first municipal-bond index fund until this past August.
At an annual cost of 0.12%, Vanguard Tax-Exempt Bond ETF (VTEB) tracks the S&P National AMT-Free Municipal Bond Index, the same one tracked by iShares National AMT-Free Muni Bond ETF (MUB), which has a 0.25% expense ratio.
