Horizons ETF Trust to Close and Liquidate the Horizons Korea KOSPI 200 ETF
April 2, 2016--After careful consideration, the Board of Trustees of the Horizons ETF Trust has determined to close and liquidate the Horizons Korea KOSPI 200 ETF (NYSE: HKOR)(the "Fund"), which is managed and marketed by Horizons ETFs Management (USA) LLC ("Horizons USA").
The last day of trading of the Fund's shares on the NYSE Arca will be April 29, 2016.

March 31, 2016--Summary: Many Latin American economies have experienced significant reductions in growth recently, as a result of the end of the commodity super-cycle and the rebalancing of China's growth, and a number of global banks have been leaving the region.
Although Latin American countries were generally less affected by the global financial crisis (GFC) than other regions, the region continues also to suffer from the protracted sluggish growth in advanced economies. In addition, there has since 2008 been a withdrawal of global banks from the region, thus potentially worsening access to credit or reducing competition in the financial sector. More broadly, the GFC demonstrated that extreme economic volatility can originate from outside the region, rather than internally, as was the experience of the 1980s and 1990s...

ISE Announces First Implementation of a Securities Exchange on Amazon Web Services Cloud Computing Environment
March 30, 2016--The International Securities Exchange (ISE) is the first regulated securities exchange to build and operate cloud-based disaster recovery infrastructure as part of disaster preparedness requirements established by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) recent Regulation Systems Compliance and Integrity (Reg SCI) initiative.
ISE migrated its options exchanges, ISE and ISE Gemini, to the Amazon Web Services (AWS), Inc. Cloud in advance of the SEC’s November 3, 2015 deadline. ISE Mercury, ISE's recently launched third options exchange, also leverages AWS Cloud.
Appeals Court Upholds Determination that CBOE Patents are Invalid
March 30, 2016--The United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (Appeals Court) on Friday, March 25, 2016, affirmed the decision of the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) that invalidated three CBOE patents (US Patent Nos. 7,356,498, 7,980,457 and 8,266,044).
The Appeals Court agreed with ISE and found that all three patents are invalid. These patents formed the basis of litigation that CBOE brought against ISE in the case of Chicago Board Options Exchange, Incorporated v. International Securities Exchange, LLC (Case No. 1:13-cv-01339-JMF).

State Street to buy GE Asset Management for up to $485m
March 30, 2016--State Street Corp. has been spending a lot of time cutting costs. Now it's going to spend some money in a bid to boost profits.
The Boston-based custody bank and asset manager said Wednesday it agreed to acquire GE Asset Management, the pension arm of General Electric Co., for as much as $485 million in cash.

Argentina prepares return to market after 15 years
