Korea Investment Launches ETF Bundling Five Strategic Industries

August 11, 2026---Semiconductors at Core, Alongside Four Other Strategic Sectors, for Diversification
Korea Investment Management said on the 11th that it has listed a new exchange-traded fund, the ACE Semiconductor Plus Strategic Industries ETF, which invests in a bundle of South Korea's key strategic industries, led by semiconductors.

The fund is designed to hold representative companies from five core Korean industries that have proven competitive in global markets, easing the volatility that comes from concentration in a single sector.

Led by semiconductors, which carry the largest weighting, the ETF fixes on four strategic industries -semiconductors, shipbuilding, defense and nuclear power- and adds one more promising sector, selecting the top two stocks within each industry.
